One of the concerns this time of year is preparing government forms. And part of that preparation includes counting them. This is pretty easy to do using COATS.
W2 count
Open COATS
Click Payroll
Click W2 count
Choose the day you desire to have your count
The result will tell you your approximate count.
Note: this does not take into account multi-locality or state nor does it remove those that opt-in for an online W2
1095c count
Open COATS
Click Reports
Click ACA
Click Employee Status Per Month
Choose Full Year
The Total Non-Variable total gives you an estimate of the number of 1095c you may need
Note: if you enrolled Variables, they get a 1095c as well.
