My Job with COATS: I innovate and help shape the future of COATS working with our existing clients and their feedback. I help keep the system compliant and the technology relevant in all areas practical to the industry.

My Advice to Users: Train your team in best practices and never stop learning. Technology is great but remember we are in the people business.

Why should people use COATS? COATS is core to how a staffing company operates on a daily basis, it won’t let you down.

About Me: I’m a lifer at COATS. I earned my Masters of Education from ODU, taught two years, came to COATS and never looked back. I have a wonderful husband and two terrific daughters who keep me quite busy. I enjoy spending time with family and friends; it’s all about the balance.

My Job at COATS: I enjoy many opportunities at COATS from developing new clients to maintaining and building client relationships. Our development team works hard to bring every day needs to the forefront of our software. I help our teams develop, train, and service our clients to what I consider a gold standard.

My Advice to Users: Practice, learn and grow. You can’t break the software. Use it. Play around with new features. Never stop learning and never stop asking questions.

Why should people use COATS? COATS is a family company that treats every client like their only client. We ensure our software is user-friendly, complete, and compliant.

About Me: I am a retired Military Musician whose true passion is computers.

My Job with COATS: I am the Engineer of the COATS software. I write most of the software with a lot of help from the Subject Matter Experts (SME) from Reliance and all the Staff of COATS itself.

My Advice to Users: The only bad question is the one never asked.

Why should people use COATS? So you have more time to do other things.

About Me: I have been with COATS Staffing Software since 2003. My top three traits include: Accounting background with the ability to help all users understand on their level, unending task of becoming a master organizer, and attempting to manage a family.

About Me: Has an associates degree and is self-taught in computer knowledge including but not limited to: conversions, running queries, and creating programs/reports. Enjoys studying and learning new skills, weekends with the family, and looks forward to one day conquering the world.

My Job with COATS: Joined the COATS Technical Support team in November 2005 and is responsible for the White Paper Documentation, Manual Creations and Custom Reports/Programming. Offers experience in Payroll, AP, AR, and GL.

My Advice to Users: Know your data – computers are only the tool.

Why should people use COATS? COATS is like working on a spider web being one entry has multiple functions.

About Me: I joined COATS Staffing Software in 2012. I am responsible for Sales Management and training. I am very energetic and I enjoy bringing fun ways to learn COATS system.

My Job with COATS: Sales Management and Training.

My Advice to Users:
Training is #1; to understand the System; even if you have been in the staffing business for years.
Set Up is #2; you must take the time to set up the company tree and company defaults for a fully functioning system.

Why should people use COATS? One Stop Shop; front office information feeds into back office; making payroll and all accounting aspects a lot easier to process.

About Me: I am a proud US Army Veteran and have earned my Bachelors in Accounting all while being a mom of two amazing kids, who keep me busy. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and scrapbooking our memories.

My Job with COATS: I’m the “Communications Director”. I am the first person you will meet when you visit the office or the person who answers the phone when you call. My duties include fielding telephone calls, entering and managing tickets, receiving, and directing visitors, filing, office management, sending invoices and processing payments and much more!

My Advice to Users: Take time to look at the program and explore all the features the software has to offer that make running your business easier. If you aren’t sure, always call! We are here to help!

About Me: I am new to COATS in 2018 joining the Tech Support team, and bringing with me 20+ years of experience in payroll. I am a transplanted New Yorker (read: Yankees fan) and have 4 wonderful children, 2 sweet rescue pups, and 2 kittens.

Outside of work, I cherish time with my two lovely children, two playful husky puppies, and two adorable rescue kitties.
