Have you ever wanted to track how associates or clients are referred to your business and needed a way to track it over time? With COATS, you can do that.
When entering an employee record, you can program through COATS a wide array of referral sources, such as “word of mouth” or “internet.” And you can get as specific as you like, such as if you use job search providers like “Monster” or “Indeed” or “CareerBuilder.” Once that’s done, there’s a drop down menu on the employee record to select the referral source of your choice.
The same is true with clients. Simply go to the client record and select from your programmed drop-down menu how they heard about your company.
This is a tremendous aid to determine the return on investment for your sales and marketing efforts and, like all reports, can be tracked over the period of time that works best for you.
