TempNet is a great organization for staffing companies to get wonderful training and network.
As a vendor at TempNet we have been able to meet new people and share COATS. We also have had the opportunity to hear from some great keynote speakers.
For example, on Thursday, we were able to listen to Don Hobbs who spoke about building your business by changing your focus. Some of Don`s key messages came from the international best-seller book `The ONE Thing` by Gary Keller. It looks like a great read. We closed Thursday with the excitement of learning a little of the One-step and a small taste of Austin by visiting Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar on Austin’s very live 6th street.
Friday, September 23rd started with a chance to hear from Allyson Young, from K&N Management, which runs four locations of Rudy`s Country Store & Bar-B-Q and developed Mighty Fine Restaurant and food truck. Allyson spoke on “accidental excellence,” describing practices for achieving great customer service and employee satisfactions. We also had a nice surprise of tasting some of their well-known Bar-B-Q. Another Speaker on Friday was Bill Riggs who dazzled us with magic and comedy during his discussion of becoming a born leader.
We ended our fabulous TempNet visit by joining the extraordinary TempNet group on a tour of Austin and have thoroughly enjoyed the chance to visit Austin and meet all the wonderful people that make up TempNet.
