Last month, Software Advice posted a really interesting overview of how the Human Resources industry has changed over the past 5 years. And there’s some good news and some bad news…
The bad news is that Human Resources’s growth rate was lower than the average growth rate of all Inc 5000 companies. But the good news is that HR still grew 20% in those 5 years, and the Staffing and Recruiting segment grew by 25%!
Total revenue of Staffing & Recruiting firms in the Inc 5000 grew by $1 billion, from $2.8 billion to $3.8 billion! Because the number of staffing & recruiting firms in the Inc 5000 actually declined, the average revenue per firm grew even more, from $20 million to $34 million.
Looking back over the last 5 years, how has your company grown? Would you say that your growth matches the average staffing & recruiting firm in the Inc 5000? (If it’s higher, you might want to consider applying for next year’s list!)
Let us know about your growth in the comments! We love to share our customers’ success!
